1914

Bob White Farm Established
J.B. Snowden purchases 1,005 acres and builds a family summer home. Farm operations include cotton, corn, hay, cattle, and hogs.

1990s

Getwell Road Built
New roadway cuts through the farm, connecting Goodman Road to Nail Road.

1998
Snowden Grove Park Donated
R.G. Snowden and May Snowden Todd donate 140 acres to Southaven, creating the park, baseball complex, and amphitheater.
2004

Major Growth Begins
Neighborhood at Snowden Grove opens on 307 acres.
Shoppes at Snowden Grove break ground with Kroger and retail center. First commercial lots on Getwell attract banks, restaurants, and clinics.

2008

Snowden Farms Planned Development
600 acres approved for retail, mixed-use, office, and housing. CVS is the first to open.

2018

New Developments
StoneCrest buys 12.5 acres at Goodman & Getwell.
Silo Square launches with 227 acres.

2021

Silo Square Expansion
Adds 81 acres, growing into a 309-acre master development.

Top of the Sipp Begins
SMJ Development Company launches new community project.

Residential Growth
SMJ acquires 135 acres for housing project named Serenity Pointe.

Future Shaped
Snowden Farms PD is amended, planning 119 acres along Goodman Road for upcoming development.
